Senior Software Engineer

Aptus.AI is a rapidly growing AI startup providing an innovative B2B SaaS solution called Daitomic.
Our software monitors and analyses thousands of legal documents, from various sources, in real-time, to help financial companies keep up with regulatory changes and updates. Daitomic handles massive amounts of information, making it suitable to streamline regulatory-based decision-making.

Thanks to our proprietary AI technology, we strive to develop disruptive solutions that revolutionise how people access the content of any legal documents, changing how humans and machines interact with regulations. This requires a passionate and multidisciplinary team with an open-minded attitude that is creative and adaptable.

That's why we're looking for software engineers who bring fresh ideas from different fields. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, testing and debugging modern, cloud-based, web applications, and translating users' and business' needs into functional code. In particular, they will be producing high-quality and reusable code, in TypeScript and Python, to continuously improve the backend of our products. Our APIs are based on GraphQL, and hosted on AWS.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work on a specific project that is crucial for Aptus.AI's goals, with the opportunity to switch teams and tasks as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. As we continue to push technology forward, we need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic about taking on new problems across the full-stack.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software development at least one general-purpose programming language such as C/C++, Java, JavaScript or Python
• 5+ years of experience in the field of software engineering (i.e. working with data structures, algorithms, software design)
• Ability to speak and write in English fluently

Preferred qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• Experience with concepts in computer architecture and Linux system programming
• Experience with Machine Learning technologies
