Breast cancer is the most frequent cancer kind in the female population, it represents 25% of total cancer occurrences and 1 of 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer. The early diagnosis is the only effective method to fight this plague, that’s why in Italy every year four million women are subjected to mammographic screening.

Solution

DeepMammo is a breast cancer workflow tool created to support Digital Imaging workflow in order to help radiologists and clinic professional in their daily work, providing them with an enhanced diagnostic accuracy in a shorter time.
Deep Mammo detects potentially suspicious exams and pre-writes reports for human experts to double-check. We used state-of-the-art machine learning techniques to learn from a dataset of thousands of exams provided by our trusted partners.
Our team is supported by an Advisory Board which includes professional physicians and clinic experts, and is coordinated by our Chief Scientific Officer,
Prof. Emanuele Neri. Emanuele is Associate Professor of Radiology at the University of Pisa, Chairman of the 3d Academic Unit of Diagnostic Imaging and Director of the Course in Diagnostic Imaging of the Medical Faculty.
