The most exciting year in Aptus.AI's history comes to an end: let’s recap the most important events

If rapid and steady growth is included in the definition of fast-growth startup, maybe this year at Aptus.AI we’ve exceeded the limit. Humor aside, 2023 - especially in the last few months - has been a year truly full of exciting news and important milestones. But that's not all. Over the course of 2023, the team at Aptus.AI has tripled in size, and its growth was not only in numbers, but also in awareness and conviction. And more. In fact, 2023 has been the starting point to keep on improving Daitomic - our RegTech SaaS - and also to open up to new markets, also continuing on our path that aims to make law digitally accessible and democratize access to regulatory documents. • FEBRUARY 2: Aptus.AI participates at Bank of Italy's 29th Assiom Forex conference (Milan)
  Concluding Aptus.AI's journey alongside the Bank of Italy in the Fintech Milano Hub, our CEO Andrea Tesei participates as a speaker at the 29th Assiom Forex Conference.

• FEBRUARY 23: Aptus.AI's Generative AI mentioned as an example by expert Efi Pylarinou
  Globally renowned influencer in the FinTech sector, Efi Pylarinou, quotes our application of GPT-3.5 within Daitomic as an example of Generative AI use cases in the RegTech sector.

• APRIL 26: The Compliance Talks interview series created by Aptus.AI kicks off
  During 2023 we kick off a column on the state of the art, critical issues and technological innovation in the compliance sector, interviewing some of the leading experts on the Italian landscape. Here are the 6 episodes already published:

• SEPTEMBER 7-8: Aptus.AI participates as a Gold Supporter at EVALITA 2023 (Parma)
  Our CPTO Lorenzo De Mattei represents Aptus.AI at the University of Parma as a Gold Supporter at EVALITA (Evaluation of NLP and Speech Tools for Italian), the annual initiative of AILC (Italian Association of Computational Linguistics) on the latest developments in the field of NLP (Natural Language Processing).‍

• SEPTEMBER 12: Chat-EUR-Lex by Aptus.AI selected by NGI Search of the European Commission
  ‍Aptus.AI's project, in collaboration with IGSG-CNR, aimed at democratizing access to legal information within the EU through Conversational AI, is admitted to the European Commission's NGI (Next Generation Internet) Search Program.

• SEPTEMBER 25-27: Aptus.AI is one of the top 3 Open Mic speakers at TechChill 2023 (Milan)
  At Tech Chill in Milan, Aptus.AI is selected as one of the top 3 startups to take the stage at the Open Mic to talk about how Generative AI can be exploited to make law accessible.

• OCTOBER 3-4: Aptus.AI's Generative AI presented as a use case at Forum Banca (Milan)
  During the 2023 edition of Forum Banca - one of the most important happenings for the Italian banking community - our CEO Andrea Tesei participated as a speaker in the panel discussion on "How to leverage Generative AI to create new products".
  

• OCTOBER 9: Intesa Sanpaolo Group formalizes a partnership with Aptus.AI
  Through its official website, the Intesa Sanpaolo Group officially announces the start of its partnership with Aptus.AI - also explored in depth in one of our blog posts.

• NOVEMBER 13-16: Aptus.AI takes part as an exhibitor at Web Summit (Lisbon)
  For the third year in a row, Aptus.AI is taking part as an exhibiting startup at the Web Summit in Lisbon.

• NOVEMBER 24: 3 million euro round closing for Aptus.AI officially announced
  With an official statement, Aptus.AI officially announces the closing of a 3 million euros round, with P101's Program 103 fund as the lead investor in the deal.

• NOVEMBER 28: Aptus.AI speaker at PwC Belgium's event on sustainable finance (Brussels)
  Aptus.AI participates in PwC Belgium's Innovation Day on sustainable finance, presenting its technology solution and having the opportunity to meet with major stakeholders involved in the introduction of new technologies in finance within the European Union.
  

• NOVEMBER 30-DECEMBER 2: Aptus.AI is Gold Supporter of CLiC-it 2023 (Venice)
  Our CPTO Lorenzo De Mattei represents Aptus.AI - Gold Supporter of the event - at CLiC-it 2023, the ninth edition of the Italian Conference on Computational Linguistics, organized by AILC.+

• DECEMBER 14: Aptus.AI finalist for PoliMi's FinTech & InsurTech award (Milan)
  The committee of the FinTech & InsurTech Observatory of the Politecnico di Milano chooses Aptus.AI among the finalists of the annual award given to the most interesting companies in the sector.
  

• DECEMBER 21: Aptus.AI included by StartupItalia in the best 10 Italian startups of 2023 (Milan)
  The team of StartupItalia - one of the most important Italian magazines writing about innovation - selects Aptus.AI among the 10 best Italian startups of 2023.

In short, leaving behind such an exciting 2023 is not easy for us at Aptus.AI, but we are comforted by the confidence that 2024, now just around the corner, will be dotted with other great achievements and milestones that will lead us towards our goals.
